My Dallas suggestions are;

Well, if you like Tex-Mex and you're over by the fair park area anyway, try a lunch over in deep ellum on Elm St. at Pepe's and Mito's. My suggestion is chicken enchiladas in mole sauce.

If you want some german food and some good cake or pies drive up to Blackwell St. right behind the half priced books and try Henk's European Deli. After your wienerschnitzel go get a piece of their german chocolate cake, but make sure you have a place to rest afterwards.

If you like greek, get on Greenville Avenue and stop at Kostas Cafe Greek Cuisine. Try they gyro plate, the meat pretty much melts in your mouth.

If you want some just good home cookin', Mama's Daughter's Diner on Irving Blvd. What you get depends on the day. It's all good.

Now if your back over in Fort Worth Joe T. Garcia's is worth the stop and some great Tex-Mex. It's on Commerce St. right by the stock yards. They make a great margarita!

If you want a buffalo porter house that is cooked to perfection try the Reata on Houston St. You have to call to make an appointment and be ready to spend about $75 for two people. We did that for an anniversary gift to ourselves last year. It was a fun experience. Even the salad was worth talking about.

Another good Tex-Mex is Uncle Julio's on I-30 and Camp Bowie.

Our favorite Tex-Mex is Frisca's down in Burleson though. Right next to Babe's which is great but Frisca's slow cooks their own brisket and incorporates it into allot of their dishes. They smoke their own peppers for their salsa too and if you can walk out of there you doing good. My all time favorite!

These are my favorites and I'm pretty sure if you eat at any of them, you won't be disappointed.
