Thing that some of you are missing is that there are not a lot of new 50 YO vehicles around. That 140K truck, fully restored with less than 2 original miles on the clock will be worth far more than that when finished. The people spending that kind of money on those things are not like tractor collectors who buy a 1500 dollar tractor, dump 5K into a restore so that they have a 1500 dollar tractor. Those things are going to increase in value. Now if you found a tractor dealership that had done the same thing and had NOS tractors those tractors, with proof that they were still new, would be worth far more than and old used one no matter how pretty.
