JD Seller's post prompted me to take some shots yesterday while at a long time friends farm. The crop and equipment belong to the largest dairy in this county, they've had good harvest weather, ground was soft still from previous rains, but its been dry for over a week. I will say one thing, that chopper does eat some corn. They stage the trucks on stable ground and shuttle wagons to the trucks, ground was just not suitable to run along side. So we met up with a few of them, bs session on the crest of a big hill, field is 30 + acres, just happened to be around when they were finishing up. Crop looked ok, given the season we had, we spoke about different areas, how things grow in different conditions and the usual ag related bs LOL !
