I wish Ford would own up to the rusting crap they put under their late 90's early 2000 trucks and SUVs. Fighting the rust monster on a 2000 Expedition, already replaced the lower control arms (went to a racing suspension mfg. in Indiana for the parts, half the price of what Ford wanted) the uppers are on their way out, all the brake and tranny lines have been replaced. Any thinner metal underneath is about gone, but the frame seems solid for now. Had a Ranger that the rear shackles just dissolved. The place I took it to said they do 2 -3 replacements a day on them.
