Ouch ! Thank the Lord it only got the nail . Years ago I got my index finger wedged down between the disc & table while applying pressure to the small piece of walnut while forming a tobbacco bowl for a pipe .In a flash the meat was gone & bone showing .The ER doctor wanted to cut & slide skin over the bone . I said ,NO, just put gauze , ointment & a condom over the finger & send me home . I sure took a lot of teasing about the use of a good condom , but thank the Lord the skin grew back over lots of pain wrenching days . Did that event awaken me yet ? No, its happened several times since . Dumbie me . I am glad you didn't get hurt worse .But please use extra care using a table saw when making close & thin cuts . God bless , Ken
