Trailer is a 36ft triple slide that weighs 12K lbs empty. Puts around 3K on the pin so the 4 tires have to carry around 9K load which is 65% of max load.
Tires are original and were bought with trailer in 2000. Trailer has been parked since 2007. There is moderate weather checking on the tires. Tires prob have around 10-15K miles on them from use between 2000 and 2007.
Ken - are you saying that used truck tires have already proven that they will not self destruct early whereas new trailer tires have a rep for premature blowout, esp when sourced from far east?
