Sounds to me you are from the entitlement generation that doesn't want to be heavily involved in your kids life i.e. school teaches them everything and you reap whatever meager benefit you can by doing this.Not having homework until seventh grade sounds like a poor school system to me.
Should have spaced your children out a little more and lighten the load.
