When I was in school in late 60's and early 70's we had a fair amount of home work but also had a fair amount of time to get it done during school hours. Our school didn't have all the electives and as many sports as today and we all graduated with good grades and got a good education. Schools today are trying to do way too much and make the kids do way too much for many of them to handle.
