I think you are talking about changing the seal on the PTO shaft..it does not require removal of the PTO..I always parked the H on the gangway front facing down so that no oil would run out. Using some small chisels and a seal puller I picked out the old seal,made sure the shaft was clean,greased it and slid the new seal into place and carefully tapped it into place with a flat block of hardwood..maybe I am misunderstanding something here but if its just a seal its straight forward. Good luck with it.
