Nope. The computers call and after such an amount of time after the machine picks up, it starts playing the message. If your greeting is long enough, their message is over by the time it starts recording.
It"s amazing how stupid people can be when it comes to a machine, too. Especially bill collectors. They start with their schpiel before your greeting is done, so if they actually tell you why they are calling, you still don"t get the info.
