: : I have a C-121 Automatic (1976??) with what looks like an electrical problem. I was mowing when it started spitting and finally died. Using the key will not turn it over. With the key on I can jump it across the solenoid terminals, the engine turns but there's no spark at the plug or points. Perhaps unrelated but the engine seemed to be running very hot.

: : I've been very impressed with answers to others questions on this list. I don't mind saying that I'd starve if I had to depend on my mechanical or electrical skills so please be gentle. Perhaps I can repay your help if anyone has computer related questions! Thanks in advance. I will gladly share the outcome with the list.

: try bypassing all of your safety switches, one at a time. I have a 1979 C-81, I about went crazy until I discovered my
: switch on the clutch was not working properly at all times. these switches can cause all kinds of problems when not working right.

Thanks Dan. By clutch do you mean the PTO switch? Since this works with the seat switch what would be the best way to bypass it? The seat switch and brake switch seem to be working.
