It's Sunday evening. Planted the last of silage ground into cover crop today, until 3PM, then watched the last half of the Ravens game. Then, went out with friends to Red Slobster. Noticed a cow obviuosly starting to calve on the way out the lane. SIL went out into the pasture and brought her in to the barn. Good thing. We got home around 8 and she still hadn't calved, so we wound up pulling it after dark. Nice bull calf and alive! Not a lot of rest for the weary today, but a good ending. A farmer's work is never done......
