I have removed the lower connection from radiator to block, fashioned 3/8 copper wand fitted to waterhose. Snake to rear area of block. Personally I was amazed at the caked mud that came loose on one.Seems the older nonpressrue systems with large top tank opennings were more apt to get junk from 5 gallon of muddy creek water.
