I have a 650 which is the next smaller 2 cylinder unit. I wanted a 750 but couldn't pass this one up because of the price. The 650 and the 750 is one heck of a good tractor. They are good tough tractors and cheap on fuel. Yes the 750 should have a live p.t.o. That was the main reason I wanted it instead of the 650, but since this was offered to me for less than 1/2 the price of a 750 and only had 412 hrs on it I bought it instead of the 750. They are both Yanmars that have the John Deere name and paint on it. Look on the back of the tractor and there should be a Yanmar tag on it. I have put over 1,000 more hours on mine and did have to have the injection pump rebuilt once. Never spray it with ether to crank it. I popped the head off a piston once and had to rebuild it.
I had an IH loader on mine for many years, but took it off when I bought a backhoe/loader unit.
I have a power steering unit for sale to fit the 650& 750 if you ever need one. .
