Went to a farm consignment auction in Bremen, Oh (south eastern Ohio) on Sat. Wide variety of tractors, I thought less quality than last year but some pretty good ones.

Kubota L3750 with loader and 3pt. back hoe, 1379 hrs., very clean (wish I had the $$ to bid on this one!) $7800

New Holland 1530 with 60" belly mower, also very clean and low hours $5,900

Ford Jubilee, original paint, decent tires $1,800

Farmall 460 gas, rebuilt engine but TA not working $1,700

Ford 3000, 3 cyl. diesel, 3363 hrs. not power steering $2,500 Heard a few comments from the crowd that if it had power steering they'd be all over it.

Ford Jubilee, recent restoration, very good tires, newer paint job, started and ran nice $2,800

MF 50, gas, original paint, power steering $2,350

JD A, early restoration, good paint, tires OK, would not start but guaranteed to run (it did, for the buyer!) $1,500

Ditch Witch trencher, 4 wd, gas $1,250 If you had a large trenching need for it, would be a good buy, can't hardly rent one for any length of time for this price.

JD 440 dozer, diesel $2,900

Vermeer Stump Grinder on trailer, $3,300

JD 550 dozer, diesel, 6 way blade, some replaced parts on the tracks $10,000

Bobcat 610 skid steer, looked a bit rough but ran and worked good, claimed engine had been recently rebuilt, $2,400 Just a little over my budget, had already bought a mower at this sale.

Truckloader (?) mini fork lift, gas (cute as heck, guy used it around his shop to unload parts and lift engines, etc) $750

Oliver 770 gas, easy starting $2,200

MF 50 gas, ps, rougher looking than the other one $1,900

Ford 2N, 12 volt $1,000

White Field Boss 2-105 (?) with cab, diesel, looked like it had just been setting for awhile but ran. $4,600

Oliver 550 gas, decent looking but needed a grill, several bidders on this, $2,200

Ford 9N, started easy, rough paint $850

Ford 8N side distributor, rough paint $800

AC WD45 wide front end, started right up and purred (I spent lots of hours in the pan seat of one of these!) $1,600

IH 454 gas, loader and 7' finish mower, rusty and rough looking, it did start and run, No Sale, would take $2,400 to buy it.

Ford 2N has engine knock $350

Min. Moline 335 engine needs work, they didn't try to start it. $900

Ford 2N with hi-low Sherman, no battery so they didn't start it. $550

Auctioneer indicated that most of these had been sitting around not being used and owners wanted to move them out before winter. Other than the Kubota or the NH and the Bobcat, none I would have taken home (too many projects now). Fun day however, hadn't been to a farm sale for some time, used to go with my dad and brother to them all the time growing up.

As I said above I did buy a Husqvarna LGT2554 riding mower, 54" deck, 502 hrs., that had a front blade, tire chains, rear weight, sun shade, padded seat cover, new battery and a way full tank of gas as a bonus, for $850. I posted some of the other lawn and garden tractor prices in that forum.
