Called a cousins wife brother & got the straight skinny. He helped me remove the pressure plate without splitting the tractor last year. FYI - The combination gear/inner bearing assembly has to be press off, then there is a sleeve between the bearings that comes off the shaft once the key is removed from the shaft the gear/bearing assembly was held in place with. Then a snap ring holding the outer bearing in place needs to come off, then the outer bearing has to be removed in order to remove the seal which has to be driven off towards inner shaft end, not towards the pulley end.
