Old, Ever think that record profits means record payout to stock holders and record taxes to uncle sam? Gas companies aren't owned by stock holders. So if you have any money in the market, retirement funds, 401k, you own part of that gas company making record profits.
People making the big money are the traders in futures, not the gas companies. George
