The statewide program is called Land Use. It is not an exemption. It is the alternative to Fair Market Value assessment that is required by state law. Reduction in tax is upwards of 90%.
Unfortunately, Goose"s parents live in a county where Land Use has not been accepted by the governing board, though available. There are 3 forms of land use for this greatly reduced tax program, Agriculture is one.
