FWIIW I have a Husqvarna 2046,going on about 8 years old. From what I understand they put different grade decks on them depending on where they are sold. I bought mine at lowes,grey deck supposedly the lowest. The hangers on mine have all broken at on time or another.The deck material is much thinner than the hangers and had no penetration welds from the factory. mines is covered with weld and fish plates. Engine is a single cyl Kohler Courage, an 800 hour engine,at just over six mine has blown the crank shaft seal. Still runs fine just have to add oil before each mowing.
