Tech 7: Has it correct. Check and see what codes are stored in the PCU. IF the transmission light is flickering it should have a code. This is about the only way to diagnose these transmissions/controllers. Once you read the codes clear them and then check after you run it for codes coming back. There should be a code repeating.
These where just starting to have issues when I got out of the shop. I have had the schooling on them but I have to have the tech book because I DO NOT remember the steps to do it anymore.
Also has the transmission be ran through a calibration cycle lately??? IF not you need to have that done. That could very well be some of the trouble too.
