Took an old junk 10 saw blade, drilled out hole, using flat washers as a pressure plate and O-rings as a clutch plate to hold saw blade. Want blade to slip when it hits a fence post.
The blade sticks out over an inch from where the string attaches. Hope this keeps from shearing off string when I get too close to a post. So far it works well.
I knew better than to buy anything with tecumseh engine. The PCV started leaking oil and the carb, which has no adustments, doesn't like to idle. Took carb apart to clean. My luck it may need a carb tool. No need to kick be, I'm already doing a good job of kicking myself. George
