Here in America we feel sorry for people that live in places where they can only hear the government side of the issue (propaganda) or practice the state religion (???). We have the freedom to hear both sides of the story and decide for ourselves.
Unfortuantely, about 90% of Americans have already picked a side (party) (this is based upon actual research) and now they no longer read, listen to or watch the issues or point of view of the opposing viewpoint. Honest and open minded debate of the issues is a really a thing of the past.
We have a choice, and we mostly choose to only hear our predetermined side..over and over and over. Listen to the same newscasters, talk shows and read the same paper every day.
