we chopped alot of corn with a New Holland 717 on a 970 Case but they are getting old with alot of acres through them, not to say you couldn't find a nice yet one yet, a Super has a heavier drivetrain and other improvements, I saw a really nice 770 NH on a sale last spring for $300 some bucks, I would bid on it if it wouldn't have had a 2 row wide corn head, of course if had a 30 inch head it would have brought more but many are just hiring their cutting done around here with 20 ft. 600hp Claas cutters
