You need a test light or volt/ohm meter to check where you have power to. There maybe a fuse-able link wire in the supply to the switch. You also could have had a switch fail when you started it the last time. This did not show up until you went to restart it.
So take the test light or volt/ohm meter check to see if you have power to the switch. If you do have power to the switch then check the crank circuit out. The power will go through some safety switches. Usually on the PTO and clutch or neutral start switch on the transmission. You just have to trace where you have power and where you do not.
