With the bucket off NO QUICK ADAPTER just some light forks you are still NOT going to handle 2,000 LB with the 950. Just not enough front axel or rear end. You would be better off watching for cheap fork lift. You can find a cheap old used fork lift for thousand to fifteen hundred. A real LIGHT fork lift mast mounted to the rear 3 point MIGHT just barley move your 2,000 lb. But would require a rear valve and more expense.
