Hi glad you asked the question Kaufman is what I was wondering about.. I am looking for a trailer and can"t find a sensible priced used one round me in Manitoba ,Canada. most guys round me want 6-$7000 for a 6 year or older trailer that never cost that new, and has hauled military tanks the way they are worn and bent to @H!T !. these seem to be a little more money but new! A few guys have told me buy light well engineered trailers, they say all these heavy I beam frame and cross member trailers are ok, but at 14,000lb the trailer weighing 5000lb plus empty really messes the load capacity up!. The saying round us is yeah it"s 30ft 14000lb but it"s so heavy empty all you can legally carry is 2 bags of sugar, and 2 chains and binders to hold it on!. Remember the laws and DOT are getting crazy so that extra weight might hurt you at an inspection/ scale stop! Regards Robert
