had an old Sony cybershot for 3 years, take 300-400 pics a month, finally died after being dropped 1 too many times. Bought a Nikon Coolpix s3100 early 2012 - biggest piece of doodoo camera ever. had trouble focusing in low light, pics looked good on LCD but when loaded on computer were in fact blurry, charging port was hard to get in just right to keep it charging. 2 weeks ago started getting lens error, starts out, then back, back out ..... I have a Sony DSLR A55 for taking high quality pics, looking for another shirt pocket camera, this time going to get one that doesnt have lens that extends and retracts if I can find one - just need decent pocket camera, good luck in your search
