Found mine this afternoon. Made third cut alfalfa on Sat afternoon. Baled it this fore noon. Loaded paid and out the gate at 1900 tonight. Beautiful 55 lb, 3 ft long green bales. Moisture tested between 15 and 19. Best I have ever had. Nice bright yellow sisal surrounds. .85 T on this cut. For a total of 4.55t for the season. Off to get some 10-40-50 to lay on there tomorrow at about 200 for next year. About $800 net profit per acre. Can you do that with corn? And this is all in air conditioned comfort of new Farmall 95, no manual labor, sold out of the field. 15 more years and the tractor is paid for LOL. Actually I use it for custom food plots , custom spraying and custom deer retrieval in November :) You guys with small hobby farms can do this with little 20 acre or smaller fields.
