Reading Shadetrees response,I will let you know, that during my military stint in Vegas, there was an underground bomb blast that got away from them. Windows blew out of barracks, dust over everything, small mushroom cloud appeared making it necessary for all on base to wear a plastic disc with micro film inside. Numbers on tags were assigned to individuals that was in 1956.That information can be googled. My first born daughter reached the age of 51 before losing her to cervical cancer, had previous bouts with different cancers (growth on back that was cut out) leading me to believe some genetic pass on to her although thank goodness I am not reflecting any type of cancer. While I was stationed in the barracks,at the time of the explosion, I had a friend who played guitar like Chet Atkins, upon his discharge he married and moved to Fulsom,California, where he was diagnosed with cancer in the muscles around the heart. He was subjected to cobalt treatment, which seemed to solve that problem, however a year later he was diagnosed with a frontal lobe tumor, didn't make it.Damn malignancy. Again my prayers are sent to your friend hoping for a successful operation and complete recovery. Warmest regards, LOU
