This afternoon I gave my retired machinist buddy a ride for errands in town. The traffic is more than he wants to drive in any more. We quit trading dollars a long time ago. He makes parts for me, I do whatever I can to help him out. Last thing was setting up his generator for emergency use. He doesn't know an amp from a volt.
Today he decided I was buying too much gas, or something, chauffeuring him and told me he wasn't going to use his circular sawmill again and that if I wanted to move it, I was welcome to it. Complete with two power units, hydraulic and belt.
Just clear the air. If you are friends it will be easy. I now have to decide where I'm going to set up a sawmill. And take him a couple of 4' lengths of pvc pipe tomorrow.
Anybody need an ancient 18" wood planer, originally driven by jack shaft? I do not. He knew that, and will sell it for scrap. Probably comes with the trailer it's sitting on.
