sorry for not being clearer it was geting late for me when i replied last night. You should not hook a wire to the w terminal that has juice in it with the key on, you can blow the rectifier that way. Get back together with your rebuilder and ask him if he eliminated the connection for the thermisitor. that would be common and you would just not hook that wire up to it after doing so. but do not hook a wire to the w terminal until your absolutely sure a wire goes there. it would be used if it has an elctric tach. hth jstpa
