I assume your talking about a ford 6610. If so you need to figure out what wire is coming from the thermositor. that wire will plug into where the plug at the regulator. the other little wire is the idiot light wire which plugs into the other small push on terminal. I just worked on a similar one. and it didn't use the w stud at all. Yours may or may not. hth jstpa
