Conibears hunt 24/7 and my time is way too valuable to be standing guard so I let the traps do it.
For groundhogs, on the first day I find thier hole and put 3 cement block around it (on 3 sides). On day 3 I put a conibear 220 over the opening remaining (the side without a cement block). Check trap that night or the next morning and remove corpse. Wipe brow and tell wife how hard you worked at getting that darn groundhog, enjoy your reward of steak and beer for a job well done.
