It has been a rough summer around our house. My son broke his leg in May (on wife"s birthday), my wife has lost two aunts, we have cancelled two vacations, I have wet a bunch of hay, I have not cut a bunch of hay, etc, etc, etc.
Tody has made up for ALL OF IT. I got up this morning, woke both of my sons (6&9). I took both of them fishing. We caught three throwbacks.
Later in the morning I had to separate move some cows. I sent my sons to the house on the golf cart. I knew the house was locked but thought it would only take a few minutes. I show up 45 minutes later, they are chasing each other/fighting over the water house. They were both soaked to the bone.
L ate this afternoon I needed to move some hay to the edge of the field. I figure large field surrounded by a fence why not teach the 9 year old how to move hay. I get him started and take the golf cart and guide him about putting it in rows at end of field. I wish you could have seen his smile.
Oh, to make this tractor related he used a John Deere to move the hay.
