Some areas around Waynesville,MO and Ft Leonard Wood have had 12-15" of rain in the past couple of days..Yet there are people in NE Missouri begging for rain..This has been one crazy weather year with 4-7" of snow on May 3rd..
Here in western MO some of us went from June 17th until July 20th with no rain..That really hurt the earliest planted corn...It started raining July 20th and has never quit..I have had over 12" of rain since then....Sunday morning we had from 3-6" of rain with flash flooding..For 3 nights in a row now the storms have come in around 2-4 am with some awesome lightning and lots of thunder..
Parts of central,south central,and southeast Kansas has had 10-20" of rain since July 20th..There has been some flooding in the Wichita and Hutchison areas..
