Hi I"m Kinda thinking that if you build your own Cab You would have to have an approved manufactures roll bar inside it. Like those horrible elbow head banging things, that most older JD"s,Fords and Masseys have in there add on tin box cabs. I know my Uncle scratch built a cab for our 523 international and It had to have approved roll bar inside to be legal for use that was in the 80"s. if you build the cab and there is an accident and safety guys get involved you could be in trouble big time, if the bars not in from my understanding. He did the glass shop patterns and rubber to fit the windows the frame was 2" heavy box with 1/4 x 1/2 welded round the window openings for the rubbers, and the door was 2x1/4 flat iron. and he cut and shaped a car roof for the top.
