That is cool. I also have an old .303 that daddy had from before I was born and it has the elevated type of rear wight that has yards (?) on it. I can't hit squat with it thought, kicks like a durn mule (as they use to say). I still remember that we use to go to an old gravel pit and he would shoot his guns prior to hunting season. I (about 5 years old then) just had to shoot that gun and pestered him until he let me. Whoa, I was knocked flat on my tail. Scared me bad...he never flinched when he shot it and I guess I thought I could do the same. lol I do remember him telling me that it had been "sporterized" to a shorter barrel and what not. It's still a good looking gun.
