Jd, it looks a lot like our crop here on the Mason-Dixon line this year. Just a few timely rains make a big difference. But ours is almost all no-till. The biggest difference I can see from the pics, is the deer damage. Around the perimetere of almost all of my fields, there are few ears. The deer have just walked along and eaten the new ear right off the stalk. There are a few with bird damage, but many have just been stripped off.
