If I was the dishonest type I would have no problem stealing diesel fuel from the local school district I drive bus for. Just a little at a time over a period of time. It was probably an inside job in your case. Although some times I could see where it may be just a mistake in there book keeping. I normally put a lock on my own upright diesel tank for the farm when I'm gone. Although I would probably not miss 20 or 30 gallons if someone was able to take it.
