Tetracycline,Doxycycline, or Predisone are the treatments of choice according to the information provided on the web site. If your dog is in the early stages of the disease,improvement can occur within a few days. If he has had the disease longer,(Don"t know when he was actually biten by the tick) it will take longer to get the disease out of his blood cells.
