I had the same problem. Put a wash-out port on the side opposite the discharge chute about 2" in from the deck edge. Got an adapter at the hardware store that's 3/4" hose thread on one end and 1/2" pipe thread on the other end. Cut a 1/2" pipe coupling in half to use as a "nut" under the deck. Hook up a hose with the pto engaged and watch the pea soup come out.
