We've had them all, Primestar, Direct and Dish. It's all expensive, but no where near as expensive as our local cable. I pay for a premium package so I can get RFD and The Western channel. It stinks. What I have is 250 channels of which we watch maybe 20 of. We watch zero sports, zero s ex channels, zero black or hispanic channels, zero sales channels, only 2 news channels and one religious channel (They show Roy Rogers!) Beyond Syfy, USA, TCM, AMC, some kids channels, RFD, The Blaze and Fox news, History and military and the westerns...we don't watch anything else. Oh yeah, and my wifes murder channels. How anyone can watch Law and Order is beyond me. Anyway, the point is we should be offer3ed ala carte programming. It's more than technically possible and it would save us all money. And that's why it will never happen!
