carogator, Thank you for your response but the cap I found in the NAPA cat; Part Number: ECH AL143, is not the correct one. That one arrived at my NAPA store but was incorrect. I do not have ability to furnish photo but it looks like a common four cyl dist cap used on a Farmall H or M and many other tractors of that vintage, also it is about the same size as those. Like stated a 2 or 4 cylinder cap was used on this Prestolite dist, using either a 2 or 4 bump cam. While I would prefer a 2 cyl to a 4 cyl cap, I could use either one. The arrangement of the two nippels on the 2 cyl cap are 90 degrees and 270 degrees apart. On the 4cyl the standard 90-90-90-90 nippel spacing is used with only two wires, connected 90 degrees apart.
