Did you have another identical engine that used conventional oil to compare it with? 60,000 miles is still considered low mileage in a modern vehicle. If you went back to the 50's or even 60's 100,000 miles might be considered high. We had a Ford 300-6 with over 300,000 km that didn't burn a drop of oil or leak and it just used conventional oil. The 3 cylinder Perkins in my 1965 tractor doesn't leak a bit of oil either and it's almost 50 years old.
