I thought if it indeed still had some slight gunked up lifters and the previous one quart of Rislone (a good detergent additive) helped, this go around a mere one pint of Marvel Magic detergent additive wouldnt hurt. I agree had it never had a possible sticky lifter problem I wouldnt have added Rislone OR ANY DETERGENT ADDITIVE in the first place...........
So, in answer to your good question, thats why I thought a detergent additive might help cure the problem, and it did indeed seem to help!!! Hopefully, with the 5 W 30 and full sized one quart anti drainback filter and a pint of Marvel detergent all will be fine AND ADDITIVES WONT EVER BE NEEDED AGAIN YAYYYYYYYYY
