A few years back I posted a tractor song here for the amusement of the group; "Old Tractor". It has made its way into multiple internet tractor videos and been seen/heard by by many thousands.
My latest tractor song "Tractor Man Geppson" is sort of a sequel to that one. It tells the story of Guy Jeppson, who was renowned in the Willamette Valley of Oregon for his ability to fix stubborn old tractors. He passed in 2010 at the age of 88. There's a link at Folk Alley to his obit and a nice picture of him.

Today's Featured Article - Reflections of the Fifties - by "Country" Elliott. I remember rowing up in the 1950�s in a small, rural town in northwestern New Jersey. The closest town to ours was only 3 miles away, and there were seven dairy farms in the areas of these two country towns. We had 5 acres, and because my Dad was a salesman and not a dairy farmer, he let the Bockovens, who owned the Willow Tree Dairy farm most of our land.
