what i am up against is brake shoe return springs this is on a 1957 chevy 4400 with a single speed rearend, im restoring it for its original owner after it has slept for 40 years, the so far ive found 2 springs of the 4 broken in the hub, theyve been broke awhile.. some of the full line parts stores recignize the springs but cant find me any anywhere, these springs are 3 1/4 long and 1 inch around with hooks on both ends, have any of you got one of these old similer 2 tons from the 50's laying in the junk row? this has a completable truck stopped untill i solve this problem
