Clemson University and nearby Pendleton SC had 9 inches of rain early Saturday morning. Washed out some roads, destroyed bottom land research plots, wiped out some rare plants in the SC Botanical Gardens, took down trees, and even washed out Norfolk Southern railway in a couple places. The ground is so saturated here at our place that a 1/4 inch storm all runs off like it is on pavement.
