That sounds like the old, old PT 10 that I had. I never did find an adjustment. It is recognizable by the round drive belt under the rear deck, which is not easy to change. The later PT 10 I had briefly. It is a much better machine and the cutter bar assembly will float, but not quite as well as a NH 469 and later MOCO.
