I would bet that the condenser coil is plugged with dirt/dust/chaff. The compressor is pumping up but the high pressure switch is kicking it off.
Also check the cab filters and the evaporator too. When it is 90 degrees out everything needs to be clean for the system to have a prayer to work.
Too many chore/utility tractors NEVER get cleaned out until they quit working.
Every year before real hot weather I clean everything up and check the freon pressures on the cab tractors. It is amazing the amount of dirt/crap they can have in them.
